We believe in adopting a hybrid approach to support our people and the future of work. When not working from an alternate location, the IT Project Manager role will be based at our support office in Port Melbourne.
Due to the nature of some projects, occasional after hours meetings may be required
The role & team
Our dynamic and energetic Project Managers facilitate the delivery of technology solutions for a wide ranging portfolio of exciting local and global projects. Operating within a Product Team you will deliver projects through a formal methodology to an agreed scope, cost, time and quality standard.
In your role as an IT Project Manager you will partner with business stakeholders across our multiple departments to understand business needs and ensure the delivery of project initiatives meet expected standards.
The skills we are looking for
- Considerable IT project management experience in delivering multiple cross-functional projects across the full project life cycle including developing project plans, briefs, managing stakeholder engagement, developing framework and model, managing budgetary and resourcing constraints
- Exposure to managing Application development, Infrastructure, Networking, Security and Cloud based projects
- Demonstrated experience in vendor management, managing a team of both onshore and offshore developers and commercial aspects.
- Experience driving change and the ability to set direction
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies & best practice and have worked in waterfall, agile and hybrid delivery methods
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Formal project management qualifications are desirable (Prince2 and Agile)
