This NV1 Cyber Security Manager position is with an international leader in their field. Providing their services across Australia, they are now on the lookout for an experienced IT Security Leader to join their team.
Working across complex, regulated environments, their systems are considered critical to many of their clients. As such, keeping them secure is incredible important. You would be working across the overall strategy, from implementing GRC policies to threat detection to vulnerability assessments and stakeholder management. In other words, this is an exciting position for someone who likes a challenge.
Note: you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
Role Responsibilities
Lead cyber security maturity programs.
Develop & improve security designs.
Keep business processes secure.
Manage escalations related to Cyber Incidents and communicate with the leaders.
Perform audits to measure the effectiveness of current controls and adjust accordingly.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Government
Provide expertise to IT Security Officers and GRC specialists.
Develop Policies, Frameworks, Principles and Strategies.
Actively perform threat intelligence, detection & management activities including vector analysis
Provide technical advice related to effective Log monitoring activities
Manage accreditations across multiple sites.
Experience and qualifications
Current NV1 clearance desirable
A strong track record as an IT Security Manager
Managed Government or Defence stakeholder previously
Performed GRC audits or documentation
Experience with threat management, intelligence and detection
Ability to provide recommendations to technical teams
Understanding of log monitoring
Preferably possess industry certification (CISM, GIAC, CCNP, etc.)
