An exciting opportunity currently exists for an experienced Senior Solution Architect to join our IT team based in Rhodes, Sydney. Our regional team supports the deployment, maintenance and evolution of global IT products for Marketing Sales and eBusiness in our businesses within Asia, Oceania and Africa & Greater China Region.
This role supports the design and evolution of cross product architecture within product groups and platforms that are fit for purpose within Asia, Oceania and Africa and meet the functional group product architecture strategy for Marketing, Sales and eBusiness.
A day in the life…
Reporting to the Regional Manager - MSE Technology, key responsibilities of the role include:
Proactively and holistically support design and evolution of cross product architecture within the product groups and platforms that fit within Zone Asia, Oceania, Africa & Greater China Region IT Product architecture and meet the product group strategy within Marketing, Sales and eBusiness
Takes on the role of a Lean-Agile leader, defining architectural designs to guide and
contextualize solution development
Manages & develops the architecture for a broader scope platform and deliver the architectural design for products & projects, translating business needs into a solution blueprint representing the end-to-end technical solution
Leads the implementation and integration of technical architecture across Marketing Sales & eBusiness product groups based on enterprise business strategy, business capabilities and business requirements
Defines guidelines & solution patterns to ensure product-based decisions are with Enterprise Architecture vision
Develops integration processes and interface requirements
Key catalyst across groups for adoption of globally developed IT products to fit regional and local needs
Design and Delivers artifacts for Architecture reviews keeping security, internal and external compliance, scalability & efficiency at the core.
Engage with Tech Leads, Business Analysts, Product Managers and Enterprise Architects within (and across) the product groups to ensure alignment with the overall enterprise architecture.
What will make you successful
Joining a collaborative team of Specialists, you will be a strong team player with a history of delivering results in a high pressure and dynamic environment.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent; M.B.A. preferred.
5+ years of demonstrable experience in:
Data & solution architecture for large scale digital channel projects
Middleware & integration approaches with various APIs and message exchanges
Cloud architecture (PaaS, SaaS, IaaS) with focus on scalability, security, and integration challenges.
Integrating Services across Web content management, Direct to Consumer, eCommerce, CRM systems, Sales Force Automation & Content Platforms.
applying strong standards in area of User Management, Data protection, Testing, Cloud Security and Compliance.
Platform components such as Databases, networking, security aspects (e.g. authentication, encryption, certificate management, data flow)
Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment using design thinking methodology and Project management experience.
Strong automation, self service/consumer product design and continuous optimization mindset
Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and working with multicultural teams.
Experience working in a diverse global environment and with virtual teams.
With stakeholders based in various time zones, flexibility is essential as you participate in teleconferences and activities outside of standard business hours.
