JBS in Cobram is looking for a Site IT Technician to start in this full time role. This is a production focused position which involves maintaining current on floor production hardware as well as user Windows PC environments.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Monitor all daily facets of IT related issues throughout the Plant and office.
- Complete IT tasks related to start up and shut down of the Plant and office.
- Troubleshoot and rectify IT problems throughout the Plant and office.
- Seek out and perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on Plant IT assets.
- Any IT related tasks as directed by the Head Office IT Managers, the Plant Manager or Engineer
About you:
- Highly developed time management skills including prioritising tasks.
- High standard of computer literacy.
- Previous experience working with varied IT hardware and software.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT operating systems.
- Previous experience in a factory or process setting would be an advantage.
- Experience in electronics and cabling would be an advantage.
- Must have ability to work unsupervised.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A sense of urgency
