Alongside these support activities there will also be project-based work assigned to you based upon your skill set. For example, this organisation are seeking to migrate to PowerBI and if experienced in this, you will be given this project to run and manage. If this (or any other projects) are outside of your capabilities, you will be given the opportunity to upskill and to apply these skills on the job. If a project is too large or complex, then outsourcing is still an option with you working alongside the vendor to expand your technical knowledge.
You will also be conducting non-hands-on work such as creating technology documentation, planning hardware roll outs and organizing systems upgrades amongst other higher-level duties.
Most importantly, this position will enable you to grow and learn. This role will be forever evolving, enabling you to take full advantage of the opportunity on offer for years to come.
