About the Role:
As a member of our Group IT team, the Systems Administrator is responsible and accountable for the operation, support, architecture and documentation of our Business IT environment with an acute focus on cyber security, automation and ensuring our employees are getting the best out of our Business IT systems.
They will work closely with the Infrastructure Manager and have direct input into Business IT related projects and will help shape the future of our IT environment through ongoing programmes of design, implementation, maintenance and upgrade.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Build technology solution designs to meet business requirements including scope, deliverables, financials, and internal communication
- Coordinate the implementation of solution designs across the business
- Ensure on-time and on-point delivery of anticipated requirements and business outcomes from projects and solution designs
- Coordinate with key stakeholders on impactful changes and incidents
- Ensuring the setting and enforcement of ICT Security policies
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems, including Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity Planning etc
- Act in alignment with business needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic improvements across the environment
- Document the detailed design and implementation plan to improve or upgrade the Business IT environment
- Documenting and Managing our Standard Operating Environment and changes to it
- Running regular checks on network and data security and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Assisting with the design of training programmes to educate employees across the group
- Conducting regular system audits
- Oversee and manage on-premises and cloud business computing environments across the group
- Create, and Update Documentation of ICT systems as improvements are identified
- Assist in the management of the day-to-day ICT support systems, including the overall triage and reporting of the ticketing system, ensuring fast resolution for internal customers

Essential Experience:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Systems Administration role, working with Windows, Mac, Azure and Office365
- Experience in virtual server infrastructure, DR scenarios and backup.
- Previous experience with MDM and Autopilot administration and deployment
- Familiarity with the Fortinet suite of devices, software & services.
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
- Working understanding of Linux systems desirable but not essential
- Highly experienced in IT Security concepts and application
- Aptitude for problem solving
- Aptitude for documentation and ability to relay information clearly and efficiently.
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
- Batchelor in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar fields such as MCSA, Azure Administrator (or equivalent experience)
- Skilled in Microsoft 365, Azure, Autopilot + Intune architecture design
- Skilled in support of Windows Active Directory and Windows Server
- Skilled in Office365 hybrid cloud environments
- Skilled in basic routing, networking and firewalling concepts
- Skills in SharePoint and Microsoft Flow highly desirable
