Cannington
Our Cannington operation is one of the world's largest producers of silver and lead. Located in northwest Queensland, Cannington boasts an underground mine and processing facility situated approximately 800 kilometres west of Townsville and a concentrate handling facility at the Port of Townsville. Cannington mine provides on-site accommodation including meal services, as well as sporting and gym facilities.

About the role
This role is a Permanent position on a 7:7 roster, 12.5hrs Dayshift / Nightshift, FIFO from Cairns, Townsville, Brisbane or DIDO Mt Isa.
We are currently seeking applications from motivated individuals with experience as a Jumbo Operator.
Other key role responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Mining to design, on grade, on line and on time
- Adhering to all job directives and procedures including ensuring the correct signage and barricades are used at all times
- Operating equipment to minimise damage, reporting damage and washing down the jumbo
- The completion of shift reports and the communication of accurate information to cross shift
- following safety practices and procedures
About You:
- Proven experience operating SANDVIK Rigs
- Minimum 5+ years on a jumbo
- Must have the right to work in Australia
- Underground experience is essential
- Comply with health, safety, environment and risk standards, procedures, and routines
- A commitment to a positive safety culture
