Owned by Freelancer, Loadshift is a technology company that uses software to connect freight owners with transport operators at a global scale.

We are an end-to-end secure freight management platform- from getting quotes, securing permits, to selecting carriers, all with tracked delivery.

We are not a parcel service, we primarily move heavy haulage freight such as machinery, grain, livestock, portable buildings, railway carriages for the mining, construction and industrial sectors. We recently moved the largest boat by road that has ever been attempted in the southern hemisphere!

Who are our Junior Account Coordinators?

Loadshift's Junior Account Coordinators will focus on managing the day-to-day activities of our customers to ensure seamless operations. They will seek out to execute on opportunities to grow the business to the next level of operational excellence. They are tasked with the detailed execution of every customer and are continually collaborating with partners across the organization to improve service on their accounts, streamline processes, grow business, and elevate the freight owner experience.

What You'll Do

Schedule deliveries with clients and 3rd Party Logistics providers
Determine carrier to book based on rate, availability, and on-time performance
Timely escalation of delivery issues or potential errors
Nurture and develop strong and effective relationships with drivers and internal departments
Monitor and manage driver performance
Active connector to look for alternative solutions in case of issues and advise all sides of the business
Responsible for daily crisis-management and rescheduling shipments if needed

Requirements

A self-starter nature - you can work both independently and in a team and are constantly seeking new challenges
Target driven
Ability to multi-task and knack for solving problems in new and creative ways
Excellent communication skills, being able to express complex ideas simply and concisely
An innovative mindset focused on doing things better, faster, more efficiently
Passion for the service needs of our customers and transportation partners

And we'd love it if you had:
1+ years Experience in a customer-facing Logistics/Transport role
Freight broker experience a huge plus
