Join our Toorak Finance team !
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic person to join our Finance team on a full time basis.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will undertake duties and responsibilities involved in the generation and payment of invoices, managing expenses, verifying and reconciling financial data and responding to stakeholders to resolve queries.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- All Accounts Payable duties; approximately 1000 invoices per month
- AR reconciliations
- Daily Bank reconciliation
- Resolving account queries
- Maintenance of business accounts in Xero
- Assisting with the month end process and reporting
- Assisting with Weekly & monthly payroll preparation
- Petty Cash Reconciliations
- Providing assistance to the Financial Controller and participate in ad-hoc projects as required
To be successful the applicant will have:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills coupled with excellent interpersonal skills
- Prior experience within a full function bookkeeping process would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
- 0- 2 years experience in accounting
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent stakeholder support both internally and externally
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Xero (Or MYOB) skills would be advantageous
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Be hard working and ready to learn
