Our Project & Operations team are responsible for the overall execution of the function's strategic vision and objectives by providing decision support and being a key interaction point for all functional engagements within Finance, and more broadly across Macquarie.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting business management, risk and project activities across the function that include budget forecasting, KPI metrics monitoring and operational excellence
- Working with Communications and/or Design teams to create presentation materials such as staff updates and Town Halls
- Developing and implementing an effective communications and engagement plan to drive employee engagement
- Leveraging your developing skills in project and data management to support transformation initiatives
- Leveraging your interest in data and reporting to develop KPIs, trend analysis and metrics reporting across the function
- Working with diverse stakeholders and management to deliver initiatives supporting our strategy
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve, transform and innovate across Group Finance and the broader Financial Management Group
You are a university qualified finance and/or business management professional with experience in medium to large Finance functions. In addition to this you will take complex information and concepts and communicate these effectively to the wider group.
Demonstrating a strong planning and prioritization skills coupled with an ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks whilst keeping a visibility on urgency/importance and re-adjusting prioritization as needed.
- Drive initiatives autonomously, keeping the team up to date as required and remaining agile
- Operate effectively in ambiguous situations and across large complex environments
- Have a 'Can do' attitude, with a proven record of delivering outcomes.
