About the role

The Cloud Developer will contribute to the success of Future Energy technology initiatives by ensuring a performant and consistent architecture across development projects.  They will actively contribute to solution design, Implementation and build for critical projects.

Responsibilities & Duties 

-Work with senior developers to design and document complex software components.
-Design, implement, test and support software systems and components as directed using cloud-based technologies.
-Work directly with Origin teams to specify and implement software components.
-Provide advanced second and third level technical guidance and support for software systems and components.
-Ensure solutions comply with Origins security policies.
 

About you

You are either a recently graduate or have 6-months-1 year experience and looking to grow your career in software development. You have a continuous growth and learning mindset and take it upon yourself to work on personal projects that you are passionate about sharing.

-Demonstrated experience in software development in Python.
-Basic experience with software development tools such as Git, IDEs (e.g. PyCharm, VS Code)
-Tertiary qualification in an IT related discipline.
-Willingness to learn and work with AWS cloud technologies.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Good written and verbal communications skills, particularly the ability to communicate technical information to a broad audience.
-Enjoys and seeks continuous learning and keeps up to date with industry developments and best practices.
