The Company:
This is a nationally-established commercial construction group that specialises in the delivery of a diverse range of fitout, refurbishment, redevelopment and construction projects valued up to 40mil. Their portfolio includes commercial mixed-use, industrial, government, hotel/hospitality, healthcare, defence, and large-format retail projects.
Through the successful delivery of repeat work, they have established strong relationships with a variety of institutional clients - developers, property institutions, funds, government bodies, healthcare providers, and retail/hospitality/hotel brands.
The Role:
As a Junior Contract Administrator, you will be given the opportunity to deliver your own small projects for key clients, while assisting in the delivery management of larger works. This is an internal development strategy to familiarise you with client interactions before transitioning into a CA and subsequently a PM capacity. Given the nature of this company's portfolio and clientele, this will be a client-centric role and you will be heavily involved through the associated ECI and D&C processes.
Reporting to: Senior Contract Administrator/Senior Project Manager
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience working for a commercial construction company delivering construction/fitout/refurbishment projects up to the value of 5 mil. Experience as a CA, PE or PC is essential.
Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture/Design or similar, or trade qualification.
