Junior Data Analyst – Analytics and Experimentation

Through advanced data and marketing technology, they drive the KPIs that count! To drive project management, they now have an exciting opening for a Junior Data Analyst to be based in Melbourne CBD.
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will:
- Design and deliver holistic measurement solutions that encompass strategy, people, process, technology, and data pillars
- Design and deliver technical/data strategies and recommendations
- Assess and measure how customers traverse digital properties/assets using instances of Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics and other available technologies
- Create and present executive-level, non-analyst dashboards using Adobe Analytics Workspace, Google Data Studio, Microsoft Power BI, or Tableau
- Identify, prioritise, build, and analyse data-driven experimentation and personalisation activities
- Use quantitative and qualitative data to make clear recommendations
- Act as a key part of the initial engagement with clients, establish a presence, and be able to lead and guide the ongoing relationship
- Produce clear business benefits and demonstrable value by consistently delivering against objectives and expectations
- Proactively drive the progress and delivery of an engagement from its initial inception to completion
- Develop and produce business and technical documentation
- Keep up to date on new technologies, industry trends, and innovations
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing, IT, Computer Science or Engineering
- 1+ years hands-on experience using the Google Marketing Platform (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Data Studio, BigQuery, Google Optimize) and/or the Adobe Experience Cloud (Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Audience Manager)
- Ideally, some experience in capturing and documenting measurement requirements for business audiences and delivering technical specifications for developers for implementation and testing
- An understanding of how web browsers operate, with the ability to read and write simple JavaScript for tag management, using the browser console and network tab for debugging, and understanding CSS and HTML for experimentation and personalisation
- Ability to convey complex technical requirements to non-technical audiences across different levels
- Hands-on experience with Tealium, Optimizely, and Salesforce (highly advantageous)
