THE OPPORTUNITY
An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated Software Developer to join our Application Development team in the position of Junior Developer as part of our Corporate Head Office.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Responsible for the development of high-quality software that brings value to Ramsay Health Care (RHC). Responsible for implementation, support and maintenance of applications within the enterprise using the Microsoft technology stack.
- Experience working in a professional software development environment
- Strong knowledge of the following languages and frameworks
- C#
- .Net 4.5-4.8
- .NET 5,
- Strong knowledge of modern web design patterns and frameworks, preferably including experience with Angular 10+, Bootstrap, and Gulp
- Demonstrated experience with CI/CD platforms such as TeamCity and Octopus
- Previous experience of source control software, preferably Bitbucket
- Strong SQL knowledge, preferably development experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Demonstrated experience working within an agile team using techniques such as Test-Driven Development
- Minimum 1 years’ experience working in a comparable role (or recent graduate)
- Flexible approach and growth mindset
Desirable:
- Experience with UI frameworks:
- Knockout,
- KendoUI and;
- WPF
- Experience with industry standard tools, such as Jira and Confluence
- Previous experience working with VB.Net and other CLR languages
- Experience with SOA and/or Microservices architecture
- Previous experience in a health care environment
- Tertiary qualifications in computing or Microsoft certifications
- Previous experience developing for Android or Apple mobile phones/tablets
Experience in the healthcare industry and managing health data (including understanding legislative requirements) is highly desirable, but not essential.
