An exciting opportunity has become available for a Junior Digital Designer to join the Seven West Media Marketing team. This is a great opportunity for a graduate level designer to get their foot in the door to an exciting industry.

We are seeking a Graphic Designer with a heavy digital skill set. Reporting to the Senior Designer, the role’s purpose is to help elevate campaigns with a digital view that is guided by the strategic and visual guidelines of our brand.

You will be working alongside the Marketing Team to produce and deliver strong content that not only engages the audience but also meets brand objectives.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborating with the Design and Marketing Teams to translate design briefs into videos, web content and digital assets.
• Develop highly engaging digital, video and graphic design assets which support marketing campaigns and promotions.
• Design animated assets for PPC advertising (Facebook, Google Ads).
• Provide creative designs for both print and digital including EDMs, social media, online and/or printed posters, flyers, newspaper ads, brochures, banners, signboards, and promotions, etc.
• Creating PPT presentation template collateral for internal stakeholder use.
• Retouching and editing images
• Assisting at events and activations to promote the SWM brand
• Leadership Matters, Channel 7 Activations, Telethon, Channel 7 Christmas Pageant
• You will also assist the Senior Designer in required photo shoots, editing and general tasks.

About You:

• Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight timeframes
• Ability to remain on brief and adhere to the strategic direction
• Have great time management and a sense of urgency
• Motivated and a positive attitude.

• Are able to work independently and as part of a team
• A passion for design and a creative flair

You Will Have:

• A qualification in Graphic Design/Visual Communication and/or Digital Design.
• Recently graduated or 1+ years of design experience
• Demonstrate competency across the entire Adobe Suite, particularly Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
• Knowledge in HTML5 /CSS animation tools for creating web animations for digital banner advertisements or enhancing the company's digital experience.
• Experience in After Effects or video editing software is highly desired.
• Proven experience in Digital Design
• Strong knowledge of digital design best practice
• Competency across Microsoft programs.
• High level of attention to detail.
• An understanding of hierarchy and design space in regard to campaign objectives.
• A strong understanding of the print production process
