Junior Estimator/Office Admin

Our established construction firm is growing, and we have an excellent opportunity for an Junior Estimator/office admin to join our team of professionals. Review tender documents including scope of works & specifications.
Develop pricing schedules & bill of quantities on a range of Construction, civil, utility & infrastructure projects.
Support the Estimating team in providing accurate cost & drafting estimates.

Collect, evaluate & follow up on quotes from suppliers & subcontractors.

Provide support with tender requests & submissions.

Maintain & produce accurate project records & reports.

Follow up on submitted tenders & update tender registers.

Measure & prepare bill of quantities & submit RFQ's to suppliers & subcontractors.

Prepare well-presented tender proposals/

Update supplier database.

Research new tender opportunities.

Business development.

Submit tender documents to clients

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Strong organisation & time management skills
Experience & proficiency in Microsoft office, particularly excel
Excellent communication skills
Ability to read & interpret drawings will be highly regarded
Punctual & professional
Willingness to learn & show initative

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Internship
Contract length: 365 days
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

Salary: $41,507.95 – $75,849.64 per year
