I'm partnering with an educational institution in recruiting for their next junior finance analyst. They are open to sectors and profiles with minimal experience.
the opportunity is initially a 3 months contract with geniune view to go permanent for the role profile.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be looking after the following:
Finance
- Finance month-end management reports preparation (Board P&L/Balance Sheet)
- Accruals and adjustment journal entries
- Revenue recognition and reconciliation between account system and ERP
- Modelling and rephasing budgets/forecasts; update budget/forecast to Finance system
- Preparing annual and periodic submission of company financial report to HITS and DESE
- Enrolment dashboard updates and tracking
- Teaching session timetable cost projection analysis
- Break-even analysis
- Modelling of student intakes and progression of existing and future programs
- Modelling of student cohorts progressions and attritions
- Other analytical ad-hoc projects required by CFO and company leadership group
- Finance system reports set up, testing, and on-going improvements
- ERP system integration with finance system testing in collaboration with IT department and external consultants
- Scoping internal process of data flows between ERP and finance system; addressing issues with other departments
