The Role
Reporting into Finance Manager - Supply Chain and Logistics, the main responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner will include but not limited to:
- Prepare and review weekly KPI reporting
- Understand results and document variances
- Review results with Manager for distribution to management
- Prepare and/or review monthly management reports for Supply Chain & Logistics
- Review reports to ensure accuracy of and integrity of journals/accounting treatment of transactions
- Assist with preparation of budgets/projections
- Provide analysis where relevant on key costs
- Prepare and/or review monthly, seasonal and annual projections to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Understand, confirm and challenge assumptions built into projections
- Review and improve efficiency of current weekly KPI reporting and month end reporting processes
- Ad hoc duties as required
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Part CPA/CA qualified or looking to commence
- Circa 2-3 years+ accounting experience
- High attention to detail;
- Demonstrated experience using advanced Excel features
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills to be able to build rapport and relationships with non-finance stakeholders with ease
- Experience in managing and prioritising multiple departmental requirements and deadlines.
- Retail experience would be advantageous but not mandatory for the role.
