Junior Finance Business Partner | Top 20 Asx | Contract

This is an awesome opportunity for a Management Accountant / Finance Analyst to take the next step in their career pursuing a finance business partnering path.

Working for a Top 20 ASX listed Australian business, you will work amongst a high performing team and play a key part in driving performance. Please note that this role is an initial 12 month fixed term contract.

About the Junior Finance Business Partner role:

This position will be responsible for the provision of finance partner services. Ultimately you will contribute to the success of the business function, by identifying new opportunities to improve revenue or reduce costs, and take a proactive role in managing business case support by providing financial analysis and commentary.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify key commercial business improvement initiatives
• Undertake financial analysis to support business cases
• Provide financial support to the business unit
• Assist the business with capital expenditure planning, and assess against budget
• Produce ad hoc financial reporting to drive tactical business decisions
• Review and prepare commentary
• Track performance against strategic goals

Key selection criteria:

• 3 - 5 years experience in a management accounting / finance analyst role
• CA / CPA / CFA Qualified or studying towards
• Strong communication skills and commercial acumen
• Proven ability to influence outcomes
• Experience using a large ERP system preferred
