Our client, a mid-sized Australian medical publishing company, is looking for a Fullstack Developer to join their team. This role is ideal for a junior developer looking to build their skillsets and take the next step in their career. They will work with senior members to play a key part in the solution design and development of current and future systems, technical leadership, and people leadership, which maintains and improves the quality of ICT systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the planning of development sprints.
- Develop new software, applications, services & modules for the business platforms that meet our technical guidelines, development standards and technology frameworks. Systems are to be maintainable and scalable.
- The design focus will be on enhancing the usability, accessibility and overall look and feel of prototypes while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Work with other members of the ICT team to maintain technical quality across our systems and ensure that new and modified systems integrate well with other internal systems and our architectural layout.
- Work with ICT and non-ICT groups to support existing systems, analyse and understand issues raised and provide feedback, fixes or assistance as required.
- Document system builds and changes for ICT and non-ICT understanding. Document deployment and any ongoing support processes.
- Commercial experience with PHP 7. Experience with any PHP development frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, Zend etc), and Drupal 9 experience is desirable.
- Commercial Javascript development experience - Node.js and ReactJS desirable
