ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, talented Junior Graphic Designer to join our creative marketing team, working on digital and print graphics for the brand. This is an entry level position and centres around supporting our mid-weight & senior designer with all tasks. You will support our creative vision by producing designs and communications through print collateral and campaigns, retail POS, environmental graphics and digital media. You will learn the Typo DNA & collaborate with key stakeholders to understand trend direction & creative briefs, successfully translating ideas into trend relevant, current, commercial graphics that resonate with our customer. If you have an eye for design & want to push creative boundaries, disruptive & full of personality then this could be the job for you. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- An easy going, upbeat personality *Sarcasm, quick wit &/or an offbeat sense of humour highly regarded
- A positive, can do attitude & approach with all tasks
- A love for designing ditigal and print graphics
- Relevant degree/qualification in Graphic Design with proficient capabilities in Photoshop, Illustrator & Indesign. 1-2 years of experience in a similar role ideal, but not essential
- Relevant experience setting up final art files for print / production highly regarded
- Fast and flexible, adaptable to change as we’re constantly evolving as a brand to meet our customers’ needs
- The ability to collaborate successfully within a team & also work autonomously when given direction
- A genuine passion to deliver on brand, edgy, cool art & graphics that connect with our customer
- Being open & receptive to feedback, ensuring all tasks are completed to best practice & to ensure designs are on-brand & in line with creative direction
- Bonus points if you’re on TikTok & will proactively contribute to quarterly workshops to discuss trending memes & content that resonates with our Gen-Z customer
