As a member of a project team, follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations/data and provide quality work products to deliver functional and technical solutions on applications and technology installations. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying relevant Oracle methodologies and practices. Implements Oracle products and technology in various industries to meet customer specifications.
1-3 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Demonstrates competence in a minimum of one product or technology area. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

What You’ll Do

- Based in Melbourne, Victoria, Brisbane, Queensland or Sydney, New South Wales, the Interface Engineer will configure the Cerner Millennium Interface Engine.
- Adapt the integration to the specific client’s requirements, using interface scripting, to provide workflows dedicated to the practices of each client.
- Perform client requested project work to initiate and enhance interface functionality between Cerner Millennium and other foreign systems, using both custom interfaces and the Cerner Universal Interface.

- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration with emphasis in Information Systems
- Knowledge of SQL and some object-oriented programming language skills like Java, Javascript or C#.
- Good understanding of networks protocols.
- Basic understanding of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 is preferred.
