A position is available for a full time lawyer open to graduates or a lawyer with up to 3 years experience.

The role will involve court appearances at all Melbourne courts, as well as country courts, providing legal advice, obtaining instructions, attending correctional facilities and more. The successful applicant is to have a current drivers licence, access to a vehicle and must be admitted or eligible to be admitted to the legal profession.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Graduate lawyers and/or up to 3 years post admission experience
• Strong advocacy skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work within a small team
• Possess strong communication skills
• Demonstrate a high standard or work quality and great attention to detail
• Familiarity with legal aid guidelines
