Build upon our existing customer base in the food and beverage sector, driving sales retention & growth, and protecting market share.
As a valued part of the Sales and Customer Solutions team, your role will be to manage a portfolio of CHEP’s key strategic Customers primarily in the FMCG food and beverage sector for retention and growth. Maintaining strong relationships with all levels of your customer base will be key to success. This role can be based out of our offices in Melbourne (Dandenong / Derrimut) or Sydney (Macquarie Park) and reports directly to the Senior Manager, Key Accounts. We offer flexible, hybrid working arrangements.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Manage revenue budget line for major customer portfolio
- Lead senior negotiations with customer base
- Develop and drive strategic relationships with major customer portfolio
- Prepare and present large account management plans for senior management review
- Conduct periodical customer reviews
- Provide input to S and OP process, supporting efficient cost management
- Lead new business growth beyond core platforms within the customer portfolio and related supply chain
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- A completed Bachelors degree is preferred
- FMCG Key Account Management experience is desirable
- Impressive relationship management, influencing, negotiation and leadership skills
- A solid level of financial and commercial acumen
- Ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
- Understanding of Supply Chain mechanics
