Job Description The Company:
Our client is a leading supplier of Raw Materials and is known for their expertise in the food and health industry. They are currently seeking a Key Account Manager to join their thriving team in Melbourne. Working from a home office.
The Role:
- You will play a crucial role in identifying and securing new business opportunities, as well as maintaining and growing existing accounts with Food and Health Supplement manufacturers.
- Your technical knowledge of food ingredients, combined with your sales experience in the manufacturing industry, will allow you to excel in this role and reach new heights in your career.
- Developing and implementing sales and marketing plans, including strategies for product promotions and launches.
- Collaborating with the technical team to provide product information, training, and support to clients.
- Negotiating contracts, prices, and payment terms with clients, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- A qualification in Chemistry, Food Science or Health Science
- 5+ years of experience selling raw materials (Open to food or nutraceutical ingredients) into manufacturers
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
