As a Kitchen Designer/Consultant, you will be a key player in this transformation process, providing innovative solutions and meticulous attention to detail. We are seeking a talented Kitchen Designer/Consultant with strong consulting and customer service skills to join our team and help deliver exceptional designs

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

- Customer Engagement

- Enhance the customer experience and drive sales of kitchens and cabinetry through outstanding customer service and design excellence

- Take the time to understand each customer's needs, preferences, and budget to craft personalised design solutions

- Utilise all available tools to effectively present and demonstrate design concepts to customers

- Conduct showroom consultations and offer expert advice to both walk-in and scheduled customers

- Provide timely and relevant estimates to assist customers in their decision-making process

- Maintain excellent communication with customers, keeping them informed about the progress of their quotes and estimates

- Address customer queries promptly and effectively, delivering customer-focused solutions

- Team Collaboration

- Collaborate closely with showroom staff to deliver exceptional customer service

- Assist in maintaining a clean, organised showroom with up-to-date and well-maintained displays

- Work with factory and design teams to meet customer requirements and expectations

- Communicate with the production team to address customer support and queries

- Be a supportive, positive team member, actively participating in team meetings and contributing to a collaborative environment

- Uphold and adhere to company policies

- Technical Skills & Development

- Provide creative and practical design solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations

- Educate customers on the advantages and disadvantages of different materials to assist in their selection process

- Guide customers in choosing products that meet their needs

- Verify measurements provided by customers or taken by our clients' check measure service

- Audit designs to ensure they are production-ready

- Prepare and distribute promotional materials, flyers, and information as needed

- Handle showroom and phone inquiries, and schedule consultations

- Schedule in-home visits and check measures, manage payments, and set up new jobs

- Commit to personal development and continuous learning

- Promote and participate in the introduction of new technologies and continuous improvement initiatives

- Qualifications

- Proven experience in kitchen design or a related field

- Proficient in Cabmaster software or similar design software

- Strong customer service and consulting skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Commitment to continuous improvement and personal development
