Kitchen Hand And Cleaning Assistant

We are seeking a reliable a motivated Kitchen hand and Cleaning Assistant to join our our disability services team on a casual basis. At Brightwater we call these positions Hotel Services Multi Skilled positions.

The successful candidate will be required to work across 3 sites - Maylands, Bentley and Carlisle and able to work every Tuesday to Friday between 0730 - 1600 hours

What does a Hotel Services employee do?:

• Maintain a clean, sanitary and homely environment
• Provide a quality meal experience for our clients
• Ordering and maintaining cleaning and kitchen stock, including packing and unpacking of stock items
• Providing an efficient laundry service
• Upholding FoodSafe and other health codes and regulations by providing a high quality service

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A caring and positive attitude
• Experience in working with clients living with Dementia
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a related setting
• Evidence of up-to-date influenza and COVID vaccinations
• A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
• A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check
