GroupGSA is an award winning, integrated design practice offering landscape architecture, architecture, urban design and interior design. We are currently working on a number of exciting projects and are looking to expand our team.
We are currently seeking a talented Landscape Architect with up to 4 years' experience to join our Sydney studio. We are particularly looking for someone with developed design and documentation skills who is able to think creatively, to innovate and problem solve design and documentation challenges in a proactive and collaborative manner.
Your duties will include: (in accordance with ANZSCO)
- Contributing to design projects across all phases from conception to completion
- Compiling and analysing site, community and ecological data to understand the environmental considerations and requirements of a proposed design
- Independently creating, interpreting and developing concept plans, design development, documentation packages and design reports for local and national projects
- Attendance on site during construction to ensure execution of the project in accordance with approved plans, standards and specification
- Relevant Bachelor Degree or equivalent qualification in related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant work experience as per ANZSCO
- Keen interest in land management and natural area restoration and a strong background in sustainable design
- Knowledge of regional plant identification and horticulture practices is preferred, supported by TAFE training or equivalent
- Confident in liaising and collaborating with consultants and clients regarding design, budget and methods of procurement
- Solid understanding of Australian Standards and BCA and practical experience applying these to large scale projects
- Experienced in preparing specification and detailed construction documentation for tender and use by Contractors
- High standard of documentation / detailing ability, with demonstrated ability to produce plans, diagrams, presentations and reports as outputs for major projects
- High level skills and experience using Revit to deliver medium to large scale projects is a must
- Lumion, Sketchup or other 3D visualisation experience is an advantage
- Strong graphic communications skills utilising the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is an advantage
- A strong work ethic and an “all in” attitude

- Package: $79,800 per annum inclusive of superannuation
- Position: Full time (38 hours a week)
