Public Sector People are working with a local council to recruit a Landscape Architect for a 3-month temporary contract assignment.
Council is located in the western suburbs of Sydney (50 minute drive from the CBD).
As a Landscape Architect, you will be responsibility's include:
Contribute to effective and high-quality open space and public domain outcomes through creativity and innovation.
Provide designs and masterplans for open space and public domain areas.
Provide design documentation to enable implementation.
Prepare consultant briefs, engage and manage consultants.
Support, contribute to or participate in stakeholder and community engagement.
Provide technical advice and support to internal and external stakeholders including consultants and contractors.
Carry out site inspections and provide technical and design advice during construction.
Assess the landscape component of Development Applications, when required.
This will be an initial 3-month temporary contract assignment with the opportunity for an extension / to apply for a permanent role.
The ideal candidate will have:
A bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture
Current Driver’s Licence Class C.
