Your Employer

Is a successful, family owned broad acre farming operations known for their production of high-quality crops of hybrid seeds, canola, chickpeas, wheat and barley across their 7000acre property located near Condobolin, NSW.

The farm has a bus stop at its gate and is only 22km to town where there is excellent schools and a great community.

The Role

As a Machinery Operator you are responsible for the day to day activities that support the effective running of the farm.

Whilst your main responsibility will be operating a John Deere iGrade with T3rra Cutta Landforming systems, you will also be responsible for operating machinery associated with spraying, harvesting, planting, and other broadacre farming practices.

These include:

• 4430 Patriot sprayer
• John Deere 8335RT +8260R tractors
• Case Steiger 550 + Puma 155
• Case 9230 +8250 harvester
• John Deere 1890 + 1720 planter

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have skills operating Laser Bucket machinery with GPS levelling experience. Whilst it is preferable to have additional broadacre farming experience, a desire to learn is also highly regarded.

Practical and hands on, you'll be multiskilled, adaptable and capable of tackling most jobs.

• Skilled in the operation of Laser Bucket machinery
• Experience or willingness to learn operations of broadacre farming plant, airseeder, plough etc
• ChemCert chemical handling certificate (not essential)
• Sound mechanical knowledge
• Highly motivated and able to work independently
• Basic computer skills
