Lead Developer Programmer - Web Applications

Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Create and maintain Web Applications using Bubble.io and other Low-code platforms to meet our business needs. Expand the functionality of our systems using web development languages like JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Streamline Systems Architecture: Develop and maintain scalable and efficient systems architecture to support the company's infrastructure and integration with third-party technologies.
• Lead a Team of Developers: Exercise technical leadership by providing mentorship, guidance, and support in achieving project goals and maintaining high-quality standards. Your job will be to ensure the team is productive and motivated during development sprints.
• Collaborate with Business Units: Work closely with business unit teams to gather project requirements and specifications, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and influencing medium-term decisions about projects and technology roadmap.
• Mitigate Risks: Identify and proactively mitigate risks that may affect the performance, security and compliance through rigorous testing, debugging, diagnosis, and correction of errors and faults in applications.
• Create User-Friendly Interfaces: Design and implement user-friendly interfaces and exceptional user experiences that enhance our applications' usability, while influencing the rest of the development team to be consistent with the company's design guide and best practices.
• Bring Innovation: Stay updated, conduct research and experiments using new technology, tools, and modern best practices to leverage the latest innovations effectively.
• Identify Technology Limitations: Identify technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems, processes, procedures, and methods. Propose improvements to enhance system performance.
• Ensure Technology Quality: Create, consult, and review work throughout the development team to meet system requirements, system designs, and technical specifications, following quality-accredited standards.
• Document Systems and Processes: Create, update, and maintain technical program documentation, end-user guides, and operational procedures to facilitate understanding and usage of our software. Implement a documentation culture throughout the team.
• Monitor Relevant Metrics: Collect and analyse operational and strategical metrics to identify areas for improvement and enhance system performance to achieve the company's goals.

Requirements:

• Technical Degree: Possess a technical degree in Business, Science, or Engineering.
• Full-stack and Software Architecture Skills: The ideal candidate should demonstrate proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies, possess a deep understanding of software architecture principles, and be capable of designing robust, scalable, and maintainable software systems that meet business requirements while considering factors such as performance, security, and scalability.
• Technical Leadership Experience: Demonstrate strong technical leadership by guiding teams effectively, fostering collaboration, and resolving technical challenges to drive project success
• Low-code Platform Experience: Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of experience in developing web and mobile applications at scale using Bubble.io and other No-code/Low-code platforms.
• Education and Financial Services Platforms: Previous experience in developing e-learning and customer-facing platforms in the finance industry is highly desirable.
• API and Automation: Proficiency in building efficient API and integration workflows, as well as automation using platforms like Make.com, is essential.
• Start-up Experience: Prior experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment will be considered an advantage.
