The opportunity
Avenues Aspley is seeking a nurturing Lead Educator to join our growing team
We are looking for someone who believes in building bonds with the children, families, and staff to ensure the best outcomes are met through planning and implementing experiences while working as a team.
Interest and passion working with our 3 year old class.
We believe in having consistency for our families and staff alike so the successful the candidates must have the ability to work 5 days (Monday to Friday) within our operating hours 7am - 6pm.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or ACECQA approve equivalent or working towards this degree.
- Previous experience as a Lead Educator is preferred
- A current and valid Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)
- Hold a current senior First Aid, CPR & Asthma and Anaphylaxis training certificates
- Have a good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Have a moderate to high level of computer skills in order to use our online programming software
- Proficient in oral and written communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills (ability to build rapport with families, colleagues, stakeholders and members of the community)
