Jellybeans Child Care Attadale is seeking an experienced and qualified professional to join our team as a Lead Educator. As a skilled educator, you will lead the development and implementation of play-based learning experiences for children aged 6 months to 5 years, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes holistic growth and development.

The centre is run by a team of educators lead by an experienced Centre Manager who has a background as an ECT. Centre Manager prioritises the team, the relationships within the centre and maintaining a positive environment where each individual has the opportunity to grow and thrive in their own way. Centre Leadership focuses on team mental health and providing a safe and comfortable environment.
At capacity our Centre caters for up to 75 children with operating hours from 7am to 6pm.

Your role
- Support in the planning and deliver of age-appropriate activities, including art, music, movement, and outdoor play
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes teamwork and respect for diversity
- Observe and assess the development and progress of each child, and communicate with parents and colleagues about individual needs and achievements
- Maintain a clean and organised room, including managing materials and supplies
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, following all policies and procedures

Our Requirements
- Hold a minimum ACECQA approved Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Proven sector experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A current Working with Children Check
- First Aid certificate
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
