About the role

We are excited to announce that we are recruiting for the newly created position of Information Systems Lead

Based in our office in Brisbane, Queensland, and working on a Monday to Friday roster amongst an inclusive, friendly, and supportive team of industry professionals, the Information Systems Lead is responsible for leading the areas of Network & Communications, Infrastructure, Workplace Technology and Cyber Security.

In leading these technical disciplines, it is critical to protect GroundProbe's physical IT assets and ensure compliance and resilience of all our technology. The role plans and delivers the technical changes required to ensure our IT assets are protected, secure, resilient, and maintained across multiple regions.

The IT manager will also be responsible for the development of GroundProbe's IT strategy that supports the business growth horizons.

What you will be doing

  • Develop and maintain the ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) methodology for GroundProbe;
  • Provide an IT infrastructure that supports the critical Business processes in the most efficient way;
  • Design and communicate IT service delivery catalogue for GroundProbe;
  • Work with internal teams and external service providers to deliver continued maintenance, and support of services including an escalation path;
  • Establishing, measuring and monitoring SLA and key metrics on critical services;
  • Own and supervise technical IT projects, coach individuals to ensure effective and efficient operational performance;
  • Provide monthly IT reports and IT projects progress reports across all Business units with the support of local IT staff;
  • Provide recommendations on viability, implementation strategies, and optimal implementation of solutions;
  • Accountable for daily service excellence including quality systems, policies, and procedures to support execution and high standards of service delivery;
  • Design operational efficiency into the technology architecture including 'best practice' use of cloud;
  • Manage the risk and issues register for the technical IT landscape;
  • Provide technical leadership across the technical domains of Network & Communications, Infrastructure, Workplace Technology and Cyber Security.
What you will bring
  • Degree or IT industry certifications;
  • At least 3 years' experience managing an IT team;
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in a commercial IT environment.
