Lead and Grow.

We are recruiting for a Lead - Planning & Scheduling role based in our Osborne Park Treatment and Resource Recovery (TaRR) office.

This permanent full-time opportunity will give you good sound knowledge of our metropolitan operations and maintenance field services, and the ability to understand the business better.

You will gain insight into good asset management principles. You will develop suitable capability around prioritisation of work and build communication engagement skills along the way.

This role will also expose you to our financial processes and help you build financial knowledge.

This is a complex environment, and you will have some understanding of being in operations and maintenance environment.

You will have had previous exposure to planning and scheduling function to be able to understand the mechanics of the operation.

Overall, this role will also expose you to development in leadership, skills to collaborate, and be part of the operations and maintenance lead team. You will be supported and mentored to set you up for success.

The fundamentals of the role.

Your job will be to deliver annual work programs and to ensure your teams are prioritising reactive maintenance work. You will be in charge of managing the TaRR metropolitan team assigned to deliver the successful execution of daily work plan for our sites.

You will work with the field teams to ensure that annual programs are delivered within budget and on time and ensure annual KPI's are achieved.

You will work closely with the central Maintenance and Reliability team to ensure TaRR is executing and reporting its outcomes consistently.

Be well engaged and work closely with the teams to prioritise all breakdown and corrective work.

Contribute to new business initiatives and projects, review and communicate on the impact on maintenance activities.

Help coordinate efficient use of resources between teams to ensure we prioritise a smooth delivery of all works.

Ensure all team activities comply with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, corporate policy, procedure, and standards.

Stay up to date with latest thinking and best practice approaches and make recommendations for improvements and changes to continuously better service delivery and drive operational excellence.

This position will require you to have a valid driver's license as you will be required to visit our metro sites. You won't be bound to your desk but spend 50% of your time in office and 50% out on site.
