The role:
You will ensure compliance and optimal performance of enterprise service levels by managing and performing the dissemination and implementation of policies, processes and standards for technical configuration of enterprise ICT services.
In addition to this, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the provision of clinical information which contributes directly to patient care and clinical decision making by maintaining information systems and processes.
- Managing and coordinating day to day activities for technical resources within the Clinical Information Systems and Support Unit second level team to meet and executed work requests.
- Participating in and assist with the continuous improvement of formal incident and problem management practices by troubleshooting, validating and documenting all changes in the responsibility area.
- providing support for analysers and other technical equipment or software within the organisation and other systems internal and external to Queensland Health.
To be successful in the role you will the ability to develop and promote ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / change / release management (SFIA: USUP Level 4, PBMG Level 5, CHMG Level 5, RELM Level 5).
Furthermore, you will have ability to provide high-level specialist advice on, and support for, clinical enterprise applications (SFIA: TECH Level 6), and have well-developed interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others, and work collaboratively with people including senior business and technical stakeholders to make decisions (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing), and the ability to lead, manage and mentor a team of technical specialists. (NHS: Leading change through people).
