About the role:
Undertake audits and compile reports on related assets or activities performed
Identify compliance with safety management systems obligations and where required make recommendations for improvement
Consult any recommendations with responsible officers and managers for approval/advice
Ensure that all staff understand and are complying with the relevant requirements for assessor activities in the safety management systems
Assess internal or external stakeholders and provide updates and/or accreditations and make recommendations for improvements, actions or additional training requirements
Carry out investigations, verification, acceptance, inspections and audits within Network Services
Provide advice and support to Services Management Teams & Senior Engineers on work practices and asset improvement to allow improved assessor related operations, safety, reliability and effectiveness
Support other discipline compliance teams in the assurance area as required
About you:
Previous Track experience with auditing experience (advantageous)
Current Lead Auditor and ICAM Investigator qualifications (advantageous) or willingness to obtain
Current Drivers licence (mandatory)
Extensive knowledge regarding assets, safe working processes and experience working with Safety Management Systems including Beakon
High level of skill to lead, manage, implement and evaluate track and Workplace Health and Safety inspections, audits, assessments, investigations, authorisation and acceptance processes
High level skill in the use of integrated and asset management systems
High level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to guide a diverse range of stakeholders
Sound level consultation, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Strong presentation skills and ability to report findings & outcomes to a large audience
Exceptional technical ability and previous experience with systems automation is an advantage
Willingness to learn and complete applicable training for the role
Ability to complete CAT 3 medical
