About the role
Liebherr - Australia WA are looking for suitably experienced and qualified Leading Hand Field Service Technician to join the Field Service team located in Redcliffe, Perth. Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for leadership that enables the provision of; safe, efficient and compliant diagnostics, as well as maintenance and component replacement services to our customer base. Salary range on offer is between AUD $95,000.00 and AUD $105,000.00 per annum.
Duties
- Inspect plant and equipment for conformity & request required spare parts
- Operate workshop equipment including mobile lifting equipment
- Diagnose faults of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and manuals
- Understand and implement quality control techniques
- Perform technical inspections of mechanical equipment
- Accurate completion of documentation including timesheets, maintenance requests and any site-specific documentation required
- Coaching and development of apprentices and technicians including demonstrating safety leadership
- Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical) Diesel Fitter or Mobile Plant or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience on Liebherr machines or comparable machines.
- Current driver's licence
- Able to mobilise to remote and interstate locations and work under challenging conditions
- Liebherr excavator/haul truck experience
- High Risk Licence LF, DG, EWP, WAH
