EXPERIENCED LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
About the role
Reporting to the Director, People & Culture, the Learning & Development Manager drives business success through professional and innovative L&D programs.
As a Learning & Development Manager, you will:
Create and execute learning strategies and programs
Identify training and development needs within the business through job analysis, appraisal reviews and regular consultation in order to support career development and business objectives.
Design and implement a variety of development initiatives, actions plans, programmes, and training material aligned with both individual and organisational needs.
Design and deliver, training solutions including, face-to-face, digital, and blended learning options
Evaluate training and development programmes and prepare reports for stakeholders
Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
Manage L&D suppliers and platforms, regularly review the development offering.
Support the development of early careers, through work experience placements, internship programs and graduate programs.
Set and Manage L&D budget
Develop and maintain organisational communications to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development programs
Conduct research, evaluate and measure results on completed training and development
About you
We envisage that our successful candidate will have tertiary qualification in Business, Human Resources or Psychology coupled with proven experience as an L&D Manager and current knowledge of effective learning and development methods.
Project management and co-ordination experience
Development of and managing, L&D budgets
Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS), (GO1 highly desirable)
Ability to translate information to digital formats-video, graphic, PDF, intranet pages
Experience recording and editing video for internal use: Video editing software experience
Experience using Canva and other appropriate programs to enhance digital content such as Video editing software, Filmora, Evolve, Sharepoint
Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
Ability to design and implement effective training and development solutions
Experience in development of Graduate Programs
Proven ability to build positive working relationships and influence key stakeholders
Strong presentation and facilitation skills
Experience in professional services (highly desirable)
