Join our Learning and Capability (L&C) team at Kmart Australia, where you will collaborate closely with technology teams and subject matter experts to build a resilient and future-proof workforce. Be at the forefront of innovation and contribute to the development of our team members in this rapidly changing technological landscape. What you will be doing: Collaborate with L&C and P&C teams to design a strategic skills approach. Identify key skills needed for Engineering cross-skilling through business consultation. Develop a comprehensive skills matrix with proficiency levels, assessments, and efficient tracking. Determine a cost-effective solution for capturing, tracking, and reporting on skills and proficiency. Create a project plan for delivery and implementation by June 2024. Effectively manage project timelines, identify and mitigate risks, and engage stakeholders. Design collateral, including a SharePoint page on iKurate, for seamless communication. Collaborate with P&C to embed the skills matrix, ensuring ongoing accuracy and maintenance. To be successful in this role, you will have the following: Demonstrated ability to design a skills matrix for a large and complex function. Experience in mapping skills and evaluating levels of proficiency. Proven track record in monitoring and reporting on skills completion and learning needs. Strong project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and technology to record and track skills. Ability to simplify complex concepts and information. Capacity to inspire and motivate leaders to actively engage in the development of skills matrices and frameworks.
