  • Provide Learning Support & Coaching for Executives in Coursework Programs
Are you interested in supporting, coaching, and ensuring executives are on track for their professional development within coursework programs?

Our client offers executives a chance to obtain the education certifications online that they require to lead organisations, make commercial decisions, and act responsibly in their senior management positions.

As part of the service offering, there is now a newly created role to join a team of Learning Coaches, to work one-on-one with the executive participants through their commitment to the program. Your main role will be to be a point of contact for unexpected issues, answer questions, guide learning methods, ensure they are set up for success, and maximise the participant's chances for success. Most of your time will be over the phone or online proactively supporting the learning process, and resolving any obstacles that the learner may be experiencing, by asking constructive questions and offering solutions that may guide learning outcomes. Part of this role will also be analyzing feedback and common trends that participants may be experiencing, and reporting this feedback, to enhance the program itself as a continual improvement process, to ensure the participant experience is maintained as a highly regarded market-leader in its offerings.

To be successful in this highly rewarding and professionally satisfying position, you will have:
  • Experience in providing learning coursework support & coaching and servicing senior executives. Coaching as a psychological construct/ technique: process of articulating of goals, identifying obstacles and solutions; exploring different types of self-refection, and the role of self-insight to enhance performance. Coaching as a practice to improve performance, not coaching as in running training or for wellbeing;
  • Experience in guiding students/ participants through the many possible ways they can improve their learning and performance;
  • Student support background: experience generating solutions that respect participant's perceptions, personality, and learning style (a participant-centric approach). Experience creating individualised plans for success based on students' objectives and needs;
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate and coach at the executive level;
  • Ability to digest complex information and articulate well;
  • Positive and solutions-focused;
  • Resourceful: able to find out information and solutions to troubleshoot learning obstacles;
  • Technically savvy and able to understand systems and digital solutions;
  • Exposure or interest in adult education, in particular, executive level or high qualification programs, ideally within the digital learning space;
  • Familiarity with monitoring the progress of students/participants; troubleshooting and intervening when they are at risk (disengaged, demotivated). Experience with LMS and long-term courses;
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles or learning pathways;
  • Analytical skills, and the ability to draw meaningful solutions from reports and identify conclusions within data trends;
  • Superior written communication skills;
  • Coaching or psychology qualifications, and adult education qualifications will also be highly advantageous.
This is an initial 6-month Fixed-Term Contract with a genuine view to extend or go permanent. The Head Office is located in Sydney, so hybrid or full-time working from home is on offer.
