We are seeking a bilingual (Chinese and English) Leasing Assistant with experience in listing properties on platforms such as Facebook and Gumtree, or with experience in short-term rental companies. The Leasing Assistant will play a crucial role in the operations of our leasing office, providing excellent support to our leasing team, and assisting our customers with their rental needs.
The requirements;
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all leasing inquiries, providing prompt and professional customer service in both English and Chinese.
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and in-person visits from potential tenants promptly.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for property tours with potential tenants.
- Accompany potential tenants on property tours, answering questions, and showcasing the features of our units and community.
- Process tenancy applications, including conducting background and credit checks.
- Prepare lease documents and coordinate move-in dates and times with new tenants.
- Stay updated on local market conditions and trends.
- Assist with marketing efforts to promote vacant units, including creating and placing online ads on platforms like Facebook and Gumtree, preparing flyers, and giving presentations.
- Update and maintain accurate records of all current and past tenants.
- Regularly inspect vacant units and common areas, reporting any necessary repairs or maintenance to the property manager.
- Comply with all fair housing laws and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the real estate or property management industry is required.
- Experience in listing properties on platforms such as Facebook and Gumtree, or in short-term rental companies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Chinese.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Real estate licensing or willingness to obtain.

Salary: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
