Excellent opportunity to transition from agency leasing into corporate real estate.Job DescriptionThe purpose of the Leasing Executive role is to strategically conduct negotiations of lease renewals, options, surrenders, and market rent reviews. The Leasing Executive will also source and negotiate any new site requirements, liaise directly with the client during the negotiation process and provide regularly reporting and local market trends to ensure the best possible transactions outcomes are achieved.About the role:
- Monitor critical dates across the client’s leased accommodation portfolio
- Pursue client instructions for new/ ongoing tenure to determine transaction strategy
- Review current leases and validate key terms
- Prepare client approval documents including market assessment inputs
- Initiate enquiries with owner/lessor/managing agent
- Negotiation to reach Heads of Agreement and initiate preparation of lease documentation
- Conduct site inspection/s and review condition reports prepared by the FM team
- Lead monthly client meetings to reports on transaction statuses and seek instruction updates
- Circa 2- years’ experience in transactional leasing within commercial real estate
- Strong experience in successful property and leasing negotiations
- Strong market knowledge within given geographical area
- Demonstrated ability to work, interact and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and build positive, lasting professional relationships
- Tertiary qualification in real estate or a business-related discipline preferred
- Real Estate Agent License or Certificate of registration
