They currently deliver research and develop development that contributes to producer profitability, sustainability and global competitiveness, and grow demand for red meat in Australia and overseas.
Job Description
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts and agreements
- providing legal advice and guidance
- reviewing and drafting legal documentation
- managing risk
- conducting negotiations
- ensuring organisation legal compliance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate would have:
- around 5 years of PQE or above
- experience in corporate law
- experience with contract review and negotiation
- strong technical knowledge in one or more areas of commercial law
- strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- team player
- leadership
An understanding of intellectual property law is also preferred.
An understanding of animal law, climate change law, privacy law and whistle blower protections would be appreciated.
