**100% FLEXIBLE ** Ongoing PART-TIME/CASUAL or FIXED TERM. BLUE-MOON VIP role. Make your MARK. 1st-Class law firm. Melbourne. $$$.

$65,000-100,000/year (pro rata $33-$50/ hr).

YOUR ROLE

As a KEY VIP (very important person), ‘linking arms’ with the directors, you will love the challenge+ rewards of CREATING+IMPLEMENTING the legal ‘infrastructure’ for the firm. This involves setting up:

    trust accounting systems and written guides;
    reporting processes;
    file management processes (ie file creation, file updating and file closing plus document retention policies);
    conflict checking/resolution processes.

THEREAFTER, you will be:

    TRAINING accounts+ administration staff (located overseas); AND
    MANAGING these remote staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

WHO YOU ARE

We are interested in hearing from you if you:

    have minimum3-10+years+ proven experience as a practice/office manager/executive PA/senior secretary in a law firm or professional services firm+ are an ALPMA member (desirable not essential);
    have had experience setting up new systems/processes+ training staff (desirable);
    have knowledge of+ experience with trust accounts;
    have had experience with ACTIONSTEP legal management software OR willing to invest time learning if no prior experience (essential);

    have strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills;
    are proactive, “hands-on”, results-oriented, can multi-task and have a lot of common sense;
    are flexible to work EITHER: 1) on a part-time/casual basis initially 2-4 DAYS/WEEK for the first 3-5 months+ thereafter approximately 1 DAY/WEEK; OR 2) on a full-time/part-time casual basis for a fixed contract term (approx 3-5 months….not ongoing).
