Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) is the largest regional health service between Sydney and Melbourne, located in the twin cities of Albury and Wodonga. The Opportunity
AWH has a full time Linen Officer position available within our Environmental Services team at The Albury campus day shift, Monday to Friday.
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable full time Linen operations officer to work within our team at AWH
You will be resposible for
Sorting, cleaning, collecting and distributing clean and soiled linen
Hand folding and packing linen
Operating tug equipment
General cleaning duties
Communicating effectively in individual and group situations
Keeping a tidy, safe, and organised work area
Computer data entry
AWH Linen is supplied from a central linen service, controled in the linen store, then responsible for linen stocking in wards and departments of under 300 beds and the requisitioning of linen from the central linen service.
This role has tasks that are physical so please refer to the Job Demands list in the Position Description to determine your suitability.
This positions is located in a busy, fast-paced, team orientated linen store and movement and physical suitability to perform manual handling tasks associated with completing the role are required.

Selection Criteria
Mandatory : Ability to perform Linen Supply tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
Mandatory : Demonstrated commitment to customer services and providing a high level of services.
Mandatory : Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Mandatory : Be physically fit and able to work in a high impact area which involves repetitive body movements.
Mandatory : Awareness and understanding of Infection Control principles as they relate to the position’s designated area of work.
Mandatory : Proven experience in Linen Supply industry.
Mandatory : Sound Computer Skills.
Mandatory : Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
