Your new company
Australia's largest meat and food processing company is looking to expand its operations and requires a "Load out Coordinator" to join their team in a full time role
Your new role
- Working in a fast-paced food processing and packing warehouse (Meat industry)
- Understands and implements/enforces the requirements for each of the SOP's that are relevant to this department e.g. EU, halal, SA, FRL, BSE etc.
- Maintaining control of all aspects of the Dispatch operations, from the planning of orders to the despatch from the cold store, either directly or through the provision of effective leadership to department supervisory staff.
- Liaise with the operations teams to coordinate priority of orders, based on product availability and manning, including communicating any issues that may result in orders not being completed in full.
- Liaise directly with Operations teams to ensure that all product is available and fit to load prior to loading, making changes to schedules and orders if required to ensure efficiency and maximisation.
- Setting up and issuing of orders to Dispatch team members.
- Communicate with shipping yards and trucking companies to coordinate transport.
- Process all completed transactions and update system accordingly
- Computer work
- Ensure effective record keeping
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience working in the food / meat industry
- Strong people skills
- Competency to Identify cause & effect relationships
- Able to work in a cold storage environment
- Strong Interpersonal skills and customer service focus
- Attention to detail, prioritise and multi-skill
- Work in a fast paced environment
