Locum DMS - Katherine NT - ASAP for 4 Weeks - Possibility of Extension

Prescript requires a locum DMS to assist Katherine Hospital, NT Health, starting ASAP for a four-week period (Possibility of Extension).

Katherine is approximately 320 km southeast of Darwin and is situated on the banks of the Katherine River. It is the fourth largest town in the NT and is the gateway to the world-renowned Nitmiluk National Park. The Director of Medical Services for Katherine Hospital overseas ensures that the hospital provides high-quality medical services to patients.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent medical knowledge, and collaboration with other departments to achieve hospital-wide goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer medical services at Katherine NT.

• Work closely with medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

• Provide strategic advice to senior management on medical service delivery.

• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.

• Foster a positive workplace culture and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
