Locum Paediatrician March 27- April 2nd Inclusive Western Australia

FRACP paediatrician with right to work in Australia sought for locum at AUD 2000-3000 per day.

The post is based in a general secondary care level hospital with approximately 520 births per year. There is NO special care nursery and there are planned deliveries from 37 weeks onwards only. GP obstetricians generally manage babies and consult paediatricians as required. Unwell babies are managed until transfer to Perth by NETS. This may include managing babies on bubble CPAP, IV fluids etc.

There is Junior support = RMO, Registrar
Afterhours on call required on a rostered basis.

Ward cover and outpatient clinics. Ward cover – Inpatient management, ED and neonate consults as well as GP advice. Calls come into RMO phone and then discussed with consultant. Clinics – Medical and Developmental clinics including supervision of junior staff.

Remuneration

Between $2000-$3000 per day + GST
Dependant on experience

Requirements

• Medical degree and FRACP or equivalent specialist qualification
• AHPRA specialist registration
• right to work in Australia
• Current CV with email address and 2 referees
• Western Australian Working with Children ( can be obtained locally)
• Criminal Record Screening / National Police Clearance
• COVID-19 Vaccination certificate essential to work in WACHS facilities.
