We are seeking skilled and experienced Locum Pharmacists to provide temporary coverage in community pharmacy partners. As a Locum Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications and ensuring the safe and effective use of prescription drugs. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service and counseling patients on the proper use of medications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispensing medications and ensuring the accuracy of prescriptions
- Providing counseling and advice to patients on the proper use of medications
- Monitoring drug interactions and side effects
- Maintaining accurate patient records and medication histories
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Ordering and managing inventory of medications and supplies
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant pharmacy regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
- Current state pharmacy license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting
- Strong knowledge of prescription medications and drug interactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
